Spicy Fried Chicken - Korean Style

Spicy Fried Chicken - Korean Style

Ingredients
2 lbs chicken party wings
1 tablespoon Riesling wine (or any kind of white wine)
1 teaspoon (or 1 small whole) ginger
Pinch of salt and pepper
½ cup corn starch, ½ cup flour
Vegetable oil for frying
1 top of the scallions (for the sauce)

Ingredients for the sauce

In a bowl, add all of these ingredients together

In a saucepan, turn on medium heat and add scallions and simmer the sauce for about 5-7 minutes until sauce thickens

For the chicken, add the onion, ginger & garlic puree on top and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Put them in the ziplock bag, add cornstarch and flour and shake them until they are all evenly coated

Deep fried the chicken on high heat for about 4-5 minutes. Set a side on a paper towel
Deep fried the second time

After deep frying the second time, while the chicken pieces are still hot, transfer into the sauce pot and toss them around evenly in the pot.

Transfer them on to a place and garnish with sesame seeds. Yummy!!!

Serve as an appetizer or over rice! Enjoy!!
